(I can’t finish eating all these snacks either, so I’ll put them in the break room for everybody to binge on. Then there’s still...)

Hiiro: Chiaki-senpai!
Chiaki: Oh, if it isn’t Hiiro-kun! Haha, you’re urgently calling for me. Have you encountered any obstacle that needs my intervention?
Hiiro: Mhm. I have some things I need to ask you about, seeing as you’re here. If I recall correctly, Chiaki-senpai’s birthday is in September, right?
Chiaki: That’s right! I recall Hiiro-kun attending my birthday party, it made me so happy back then!
Hiiro: If that’s the case, why are you holding so many presents in your hands? Is this a ‘city tradition’ where you have to celebrate your birthday a second time two months after?
Chiaki: Haha, Hiiro-kun’s thought process is so interesting! These aren’t birthday presents! Instead, they’re Thanksgiving gifts ☆
Hiiro: Thanksgiving…?
Chiaki: Yes, yes! On Thanksgiving, people will show their appreciation to others they’re thankful for. It’s quite a meaningful holiday per say!
I’ve received so many early Thanksgiving Day gifts when I arrived at the office this morning, even though the actual Thanksgiving Day is in two days. Either way, I didn’t expect to get this many gifts already!
Although a hero should not help others only for the sake of being repaid for kindness, I still have to accept all these gifts. I would feel bad for rejecting them as they’re gifts of appreciation from all these people.
Hiiro: Chiaki-senpai is always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need, which is why everybody is so grateful to you. How remarkable!
Chiaki: Haha, I don’t feel like I’m remarkable or anything. In fact, the most I can really do is some basic stuff; like helping the elderly cross the stress, helping retrieve a kid’s balloon that was stuck on a tree….
However, I’ll say that even the simplest form of aid can mean a lot to others. It can even be their form of support and motivation in life!
As such, ‘Partner of Justice’ will always be there for others no matter what! Fu~Hahahaha ☆
Hiiro: Mhm, I get it now! Thank you so much, Chiaki-senpai!

Hiiro: (I have to prepare gifts for members of Alkaloid then. I want to show my appreciation to them for taking good care of me ever since I arrived in ES, be it during work or in our daily lives.)
(I am able to pursue an idol career and continue moving forward, all thanks to them always being by my side.)
(Of course, they are not the only ones in my life. I still need to show my appreciation to people that have showered me with immense amounts of affection when growing up, such as my caring older brother. That is not all either, I probably need to send gifts back for the villagers as well...)

Break Room: A few minutes after
Hiiro: (Mm, I will put Chiaki-senpai’s snacks here on this table, that should be all.)
(Seeing as there is nobody else around, I can sit down and think quietly for a little bit here.)
(“Thanks… giving… Day…” typing this should be fine enough, I will just.. Oh, I got the results instantly. Let me see here….)
(I need to improvise a bit here, even though it feels magical every time I use my phone. Furthermore, the way I can use this tiny device to find out about the world around me is really fascinating as well.)
(Hmm, apparently having a roasted turkey is a must on Thanksgiving.)
(That will do then! I will go find a big and fat turkey, roast it well, and then invite everybody over for dinner!)
(...However, I remember when we took part in a magazine photo shoot and suggested bringing in a delicious chicken to treat Aira since the theme was “His Royal Highness”. I wanted Aira to feel like a king, but instead he just gave me a horrified expression and even said he would hate me if I did that.)
(When teaching me how to use a phone, Mayoi-senpai even told me that everything on the Internet is just a bunch of nonsense and that I should not believe what I see there.)
(Mm~... What should I do then…?)
Tatsumi: Oh, you lost lamb. You are always free to consult me whenever in doubt.
Hiiro: ...Hm? When did Tatsumi-senpai get here? Am I disturbing your break time?
Tatsumi: Haha, no worries. I just saw you being all distressed over something, so I can’t help myself but come here to try to help you out.
Hiiro: Mm, can I ask Tatsumi-senpai to give me some suggestions? I just found out that Thanksgiving Day is approaching, so I wanted to show appreciation by giving a gift to Anzu-san.
Ever since I came to Yumenosaki and got to know Anzu-san while building a friendship with her, I realized I barely know anything about her in general. As such, I do not know what I can do to make her happy.
Furthermore, all thanks to the support and motivation I have received in Starmaker, I am able to climb up to where I am today. How do I show my gratitude through a gift for her?
Tatsumi: ….I get it now. I’m an idol from Reimei Academy, so I have never interacted with Anzu-san. Although, I was able to meet her in ES amongst the sea of people here. Maybe it is fate, or a miracle that we are able to cross paths. She is truly our ideal producer.
I’ve lost in the marathon of life in my earlier years, but that doesn’t matter. Now that I’m fueled by my past mistakes to grow stronger, I’m now able to stand up and amend for my past mistakes.
As such, I’m now telling you that I feel you can start observing Anzu-san and try to figure out what she likes. You can even go out of your way to understand more about her. It isn’t too late to do all these.
I’m even sure she’ll happily accept whatever Hiiro-san gives her, it is a gift personally for her after all.
Hiiro: Oh, I know what to do now! Thank you so much, Tatsumi-senpai! I will go look for Anzu-san now!
Tatsumi: (Ah, he’s gone in a blink of an eye. Hiiro-san’s such a goal-oriented child.)
